Katy Perry vs. Lady Gaga
It was rumored that Katy Perry slammed Lady Gaga’s new video for “Alejandro” by tweeting,
Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke. – @katyperry
Although her tweet above didn’t name names, I think it is safe to assume that she was indeed talking about Gaga.
Yes, I love Perry’s new Summer single “California Girls” which if you really think about it is neither thought provoking or interesting. It’s a song with a good beat and catchy hook that’s why I love it (original? not really…). Perhaps her comment would have been more valid if she was releasing more original and interesting work.
